Laura Calder's Apple Cream Tart

One of the recipes that i must document.

Coz the pastry is by far the easiest to make. No need rolling, just press to the pie mould. Yes, Just PRESS...

I got to know her technique while i was watching her programme at

Astro's Asian Food Channel, Channel 703 or visit for her recipe from other sources.

To know her more, visit

Daily Rant: Marble Cake , Coney Dog & Sickness

Not feeling well...Been visiting the docs twice in a month.

"Let go and smell the flowers..." seems to be their advise...

(Marble Cake design with a twist, try this with Wilton's Checkerboard Cake Set)

The 2-day medical leave has been therapeutic, and I had this constant craving for a A&W's Coney Dog.

I know, this blog has nothing to do with Marble Cake or what, but somehow, i just wanna let it out, and day dream...

Flower Power in a beautiful Sunday

The background could have been better.

But i am just too excited to share with you all.

Which lighting effect you like?

By the way this is a 10" x 3" Butter Cake, decorated with Royal icing;
NOT a real flower arrangement set.
Beautiful isn't it?
